About Randall

Small business is hard.

Most business owners are juggling sales, staff, cash flow, customers and administration—often all at the same time. There is never enough time, there is always another problem to solve, and it can be difficult to know where to focus next.

For more than 25 years, I have worked alongside business owners, entrepreneurs and leadership teams, helping businesses start, grow, overcome challenges and prepare for their next stage of development. My experience spans strategy, finance, technology, operations and business growth across a wide range of industries in Australia and internationally.

During that time, I have founded businesses, helped scale start-ups, led technology ventures, managed business turnarounds, secured growth funding, developed strategic partnerships and worked on succession and exit strategies. I have worked with businesses ranging from small owner-operated enterprises through to larger organisations operating across multiple countries.

Today, my focus is helping small business owners make better decisions, improve profitability, streamline operations and leverage practical technology and AI-powered workflows. I understand that most business owners are not looking for theory or corporate jargon—they want practical ideas that save time, reduce stress and help them build a stronger, more valuable business.

That is why I created Clear Point Collective.

The Collective exists to provide practical knowledge, useful tools and smarter ways of working that help business owners cut through the noise, focus on what matters, and build better businesses.

Julie Davies

Community Engagement Manager

Julie has spent her working life inside small business — not observing it from the outside.

Her background spans real estate, event management, law and hospitality: sectors where the day is decided by customers walking in the door, staff rosters, deadlines and details that cannot be allowed to slip. She has sold and settled property, run events end to end, worked in a legal environment where accuracy is non-negotiable, and put in the hours on the floor in hospitality. That mix has given her a rare feel for how differently a small business operates from one sector to the next — and how much they still have in common.

Julie knows what it is to carry the pressure of a small operation: the cash flow weeks, the staff who leave at the worst moment, the customer who needs an answer now. It is practical, hands-on experience, and it shapes how she works with our members.

As Community Engagement Manager, Julie is the connection between The Collective and the owners who use it. She looks after how members are welcomed, what they hear from us, and — most importantly — makes sure what we publish reflects the real questions owners are asking, sector by sector.
